I did this initially for fun, with the idea of publishing in the back of my mind. The spelling errors are intentional, especially for the appreciation I have for homophones and entendre. My job telemarketing inspired this. Most of the stories are exaggerated. This will be very hard to understand, but the more you read, the more you will learn about the person and their idiosyncratic behavior, humor, loyalty, and exaggerated truth if you look hard into the line of satire. I have decided not to edit this at all, because I want to present them as they were presented to my fellow co-workers. With the high-turnover rate, it’s just not fair, especially since I’ve lost contact with most of them. I will probably edit and re-release it in the future. The reason I found this to be a topic to talk about is the freedom. Telemarketers are annoying, but there are so many elements which I will explain in the “Pilot” episode, which is more of a microcosm for what is about to come. During work, anytime I had a great idea, or something funny, I would write it down a few words so I would remember it after 9pm when we would bust out of work. I would stay until 4 or 5 in the morning (if I was having a really good time) and elaborate on certain stories. While I’d be writing my script, I would constantly get new ideas, writing up to 15 pages sometimes in a night. Every episode is what I would hand to my co-workers. I would average about one episode in every ten days, and would distribute them in secret before work when the others were having a cigarette break. I received much satisfaction when I would hear the assistant manager, my friend Jason, laugh his head off, and then implement certain things into his script to indicate what he liked. Season 1 and 2 is divided by my 2nd trip to overseas to Hawaii and Australia. The laughter in writing them was rewarding enough, and then the demand for the scripts from my co-workers was bonus. To this day, February 6th, 2014, we still laugh about it. I poke a lot of fun at them, and it was sometimes hard knowing they’re going to be reading this, but they were good sports; probably for the fact that I poked a lot of fun at myself as well. If you are offended by any of this, I’m sorry and I’m not. This is the way some people talk, and sometimes I won’t let everyone’s sensibilities come into play when it comes to writing. I won’t deprive myself or others of laughter because I thought someone might not want to talk to me before or after work, during break, or ever… This is make-believe!
